Pros

Build a business or even an empire, with no risk. Your success is determined by your work ethic, determination and willingness to grow. If you demonstrate your commitment to the business and your clients, the sky is really the limit.

Cons

Only in fairy-tales, and maybe at Google is everything perfect. Your success at Insight will be limited by your individual resourcefulness, and ability to make meaningful connections with clients, partners and internal stakeholders. Do not count on good fortune or handouts to be successful, to get lasting success, you have to make it on your own and you will be all the better for doing so.

Pros

It's a great starting point for those that are interesting in learning about the reselling business. You build contacts in the technology space, OEMs like Microsoft, Cisco and Dell.

Cons

The turnover is a killer motivation killer. The grind without support is a killer motivation killer. If you are not located in the main location, lateral or vertical movement in the company is incredibly difficult.

We agree; turnover is a very de-motivating thing. Generally turnover is higher in organizations with a large inside sales population. At Insight we recognize sales is not for everyone but we do our best to hire the right people and train them well. We have recently implemented pre-hire sales aptitude testing to reduce turnover and ensure we hire the right talent for the right role. Sales isn’t for everyone, but if you have the Hunger, your earning potential is endless. It’s true that our remote teammates don’t have all the benefits that our Tempe teammates do working at the corporate office, but we do have multiple streams of communication to help our remote sellers and teammates. Thank you for your review and feedback. We wish you the best.
