Pros

Good salary and expense allowance and great benefits with a chance to earn residual income based on selling. Nice offices and good corporate culture

Cons

Poor training - stuck in outdated methodology from the 80's and 90's Company has very slow growth and only small percentage of sales reps that have been there a long time make significant sales through referrals New people are expected to pound the phones in a "professional" senior sales job

Pros

I have a steady job in a steadily declining economy. Pay, PTO, and benefits are fair.

Cons

Wish I could earn more and have better benefits. System is severely antiquated. Too many patches and fixes. Promised a new system for so many years, we don't believe it any more. Corporate culture/atmosphere of mutual respect does not filter down to field offices/service centers and all employees. No opportunity for advancement and current training is poor or of no substance.

Pros

Administaff is a great organization and is the clear leader in the PEO industry. Each office though has a different culture, so if you are planning to join the sales organization, go to luch with the people that you would be working with as you will rely on them to help and support your work. Also go visit the operation center that will support you and talk to leadership and front line people - they are good and will help sell you on the business. To be successful, you need to internalize your belief that the service can help business owners (it does) and look for success stories that you can share with others. Its a great business and if you have some knowledge of HR processes and what it takes to run a small business, Administaff may be right for you. Hope this helps. - Ex-ASF EE

Cons

There are certainly some politics that go on between local mgmt and HQ that can be a hinderance. But if you work hard and bring in business, it will not affect you too much. Technology wise, this company also falls behind some of their smaller, more agile competitors. They are a battleship - it takes awhile to alter course.
