Pros

Based on our experience, there is nothing positive I can say about this cult-like company.

Cons

Insperity has not released my and other former employee's 401(k). I encourage folks to verify their wrongdoing in a system they cannot scam/game. Do your own search using Pacer and Insperity or Adminastaff.

Pros

Fabulous,Amazing Benefits Great PTO Good base--- on paper. Corporate/Service employees seem to be happy--its the sales professionals who really have the short end of the stick.

Cons

Sold as an outside job--this is straight telemarketing in a boiler room setting. Product price point is confusing and unreasonable-- nearly 2x that of larger, dominant competitors. Sales is far overstaffed--3x more sales staff than that of larger ,dominant competitors No leads, prospecting lists,nothing--full blown self generation. You split everything you produce with a senior sales rep for first 2-3 years -appointments,commissions, everything---there is no reciprocation or choice of senior rep--the rep is chosen for you. High tension, stress, desperation in offices--poor poor culture Constant turnover--monthly terminations and people that just plain quit.

Pros

The paid time off is decent.

Cons

There's lots of turnover with payroll specialists. The company promotes payroll specialists from the lower teams to the higher teams before having someone fully trained and ready to backfill on the lower teams. This causes a lot and of stressed and overworked team members. Mangers and supervisors don't think about the cause and effect of this. They just give the lower team members more and more work. And they wonder why so many payroll specialists leave and want to leave. Meanwhile, sales and other departments just keep onboarding new clients. Take note, there are not enough payroll specialists to effectively support all of these new clients. Let alone all of the ones we currently have. Payroll specialists will end up having a book of 90+ clients! Read that again 90+! That is a lot when you have to answer constant calls, constant emails, and complete non stop reports and requests. This job had made me miss the prior industry I worked in which wasn't a fun one. The company recently transitioned to Sale Force which is a joke and time consuming for all employees. The transition was horrible and still a mess. It is difficult to get a pay increase. The don't have annual pay increases unless you move up to a different level of your title or to a different title/department. Pay is not good. Especially for the constant work and BS you have to put up with. Be prepared for lots of overtime. I wouldn't think twice about taking my talent and expertise elsewhere if the opportunity arises.
