      Pros

      The IT department was great. They were very knowledgeable.

      Cons

      The company is extremely behind the times with technology, which adds to the work load. Very unorganized. Leadership is lacking. Pay was less than desirable. Management expected staff to work late during the week and to come in on weekends.

      A lot of the supervisors and managers are uneducated and not qualified for the roles that they are in.

      Stressful, Shady, and Unprofessional

      Pros

      Paycheck – At least the job paid (for the time being). Short Commute? – If location was convenient, that’s a small win. Experience – Even bad jobs teach you something—whether it’s what to avoid in the future or how to handle toxic workplaces. Getting Laid Off – Sounds crazy, but honestly, leaving that stressful environment was a blessing in disguise

      Cons

      Dishonest Hiring Process – They knew from the start they were going to replace me but wasted my time anyway. Toxic Work Environment – Constant stress, lack of communication, and poor leadership made every day exhausting. Unqualified Leadership – My manager had no real leadership skills, making the job even more frustrating. Lack of Diversity & Growth for Black Employees – Heard too many stories about African Americans not advancing here. Job Insecurity – Spent months wondering when they’d finally cut me loose—no one should have to work under that stress. Unprofessional Moves – The new executive assistant literally looked me up on LinkedIn before she even started. Clearly, they had a plan.
