Pros

Decent work-life balance, dedicated co-workers, important mission. Org is growing, which creates opportunities and an exciting environment for a certain type of person.

Cons

Leadership seems out of touch with operations and the true nature of the mission and are mostly interested in optics. There’s a general unwillingness to contribute to real problem solving in favor of tallying poorly executed prestige projects. This attitude filters down from the top, corroding performance and morale like an acid, contributing to a low investment, low accountability culture.

No autonomy, Always short staffed, Staffs don’t stay, Not much can be said about culture, Onboarding and training is discouraging, poor appreciation, culture and did not encourage initiatives or actions that benefited the program . Poor support to get things done

Cons

Constantly asking me to take more shifts even after explicitly stating I didn't want any Low pay for the work Didn't want us to take breaks on our own- expected us to stay with patient 24/7 even if we hadn't had lunch
