Pros

Truly a mission-driven organization An opportunity to actually make a difference in patient's lives Manageable pace of work vs. many other clinical subspecialties Respect for clinical workers

Cons

EXTREMELY high turnover among all clinical staff and leadership Not much $$$ to go around (e.g. bonuses) Low enthusiasm among tenured staff No noticeable/strong employee culture, pride, or energy Progress is pretty stagnant, despite feedback or voiced concerns
