Staff and volunteers are dedicated, hard working, kind and helpful. The job is rewarding albeit challenging at times as is expected in this field of work.

The job requires a lot of patience and understanding as the clients are often going through a very difficult time.

Pros

The mission, the clients, the front line staff who do all of the work.

Cons

Absent leadership who don’t confront those not putting in their fair share. Endless mismanagement of resources, no real planning. No consistency the way people are treated... cliques. Board that don’t seem to get involved, but they should.
