Pros

Benefits, not in Boston, good commute, stock price steady

Cons

Extremely toxic. Management hired all their friends from Medtronic and fired or demoted long term employees. Managed by fear and zero mistakes policy. Upper management (and too much of it) treat junior employees or administrative staff like crap. You don't exist in their eyes so don't try to smile or talk to them. Can't get up from your desk without permission. Don't even think about asking to leave early or work from home.

Pros

Lots of "bread and circus" - Google it.

Cons

I made the mistake of joing Insulet as the next stop in my mid-to-late career. Since starting I have personally witnessed dishonesty, back-stabbling across demartments and intra-departmental employees. The biggest complaint I have is that promotions into the senier leadership team are far and few in between. The same old ex-Holic and Pepsi characters are promoted with far more lubrication than others. Some the the ex-Holigic people in my department have been promoted and advanced with far more ease and speed than those not being on the correct side of bias. We are suffer crippling voluntary attrition and it is not uncommon to see peers crying in the bathrooms. We survive at Insulet by creating our own reality bubbles and living in caves rather that being TRUSTING and HONEST with each other about the challanges and opportunities we were hired to work through. One other tiny comment. The bathrooms have automatic flush systems that don't flush most of the time. Ah, you want to see a toxic environment? Head on over to a bathroom here to understand what I mean.
