Pros

Good location, some good co-workers. The company also has a great history.

Cons

This company was once a promising place to build a career, but its culture has deteriorated beyond recognition. Excessive workloads, a disregard for ethical standards, and a toxic leadership style have become the norm. Employees are routinely undermined or mistreated by directors and senior leadership. Favoritism is blatant—those who contribute little are often rewarded, while high performers are overlooked or burned out. There is a clear prioritization of optics over competence, with DEI initiatives appearing performative rather than merit-based. The looming SES acquisition and the mounting pressure from LEO satellite competitors have only intensified the instability. Entire teams—particularly in Product Development and CX - have become widely known for their dysfunction and hostility. Leadership’s lack of accountability and ethical grounding is a serious liability. If you value a healthy work environment or professional integrity, steer clear.

Pros

Fantastic colleagues, everyone is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I love working with commercial satellites, the job never gets old and there’s always something new to be learning, even for the veteran teammates

Cons

Diversity has been an issue in the past, but new PRIDE initiatives and diversity hires are slowly growing our variety of colleagues. Occasionally upper management can be vague or nontransparent. They have recently expressed that they wish to work on this, and there has been some improvement. Upward movement into management can be very difficult but there are avenues for the determined.
