      Great Company to Work At

      Pros

      People there are nice and helpful, great work environment, there is a huge emphasis on goals and career advancement, they encourage everyone to be a part of their mentorship program, they have all the benefits (medical, dental, vision), everyone gets a week off from Christmas to New Years

      Cons

      The only thing I would say is that due to COVID, my start date was pushed back 4 months. I secured the job in February, and was suppose to start working in May after I graduated. However, they didn't want me to start remotely, so they pushed my start date to August. I had to scramble to get a job for those months in between. In August, they started me remotely anyway.

      Great Projects and People, Engineers Stretched Too Thin

      Pros

      This company has a progressive viewpoint and access to a lot of cool, cutting-edge projects. Employees and management are genuinely nice people.

      Cons

      Company is unwilling to commit enough resources - focused on expanding instead of providing enough support to existing teams and projects. Engineers, especially juniors, expected to fill too many roles at once, long hours are common, resulting in high turnover. Corporate made the problem worse with big layoffs in response to COVID.

      Best place I've ever worked and I've worked at many companies - large and small

      Pros

      Management really cares about keeping their employees happy. They are very generous with benefits and PTO. They are flexible and supportive of individual schedules. They listen to suggestions from staff regarding "Work/Life Balance". They offer opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge. They encourage team building with many fun activities (Halloween competition, No Shave November, Chili Cook Off, Thanksgiving Breakfast, Winter Holiday Party, just to name a few. I would say of all the many places I've worked, I never felt such a warm welcome to the company as I did with this staff at Interface Engineering. It's a really terrific place to work.
