Feels like family

Pros

This place has been like a second family to me for years. The work is rewarding every single day, and the management encourages a healthy work/life balance.

Cons

The only con I can think of is due to the nature of the industry; not being close to co-workers makes it tough to foster strong relationships.

Pros

My patient and family are great to work with. This job has flexibility to work around holidays, personal appointments and unexpected life events.

Cons

Terrible lack of organization and communication, misplaced paperwork at the office, and they never return your phone calls. It took over a year for the RN to correct the mistakes she made on the patient's medications on the admission plan of care even when told repetitively on each home visit and recert. On each recert the RN never assessed the patient or looked at any of the patient's medications, these recert visits lasted no more than two to four minutes.

Terrible Experience

Pros

The best thing I can say is that I was paid for my time. With processes that made my job much harder than it needed to be, and a confusing and tense work culture, I don't have many good things to say about my experience here.

Cons

This was the most dysfunctional, chaotic, counterproductive company I have ever worked for. It was incredibly difficult to get any kind of consistent information, the computer systems were buggy and difficult to use, and the work environment was downright toxic. To top it all off, they pay less than industry standard. They are not interested in investing in or taking care of their employees and it shows on every level.
