Pros

I have absolutely nothing to list here. In my opinion, this was the worst job experience I have ever had.

Cons

Specific to the CSR position in Muskegon and Grand Rapids, MI- everything about this job was a truly awful experience. I was recruited by a relatively new employee and was excited for the opportunity. During the negotiation process was promised compensation that include bonuses; once employed, I never again heard about the bonuses and long term employees had never seen them. The field staff was under-paid, resulting in poor care for clients, bad attitude towards office staff, unreliability and ultimately, a ridiculously high turnover. This left the office staff to pick up the pieces every day. The hours were terrible- no work life balance at all. Most days we were in the office for 12 hours with no lunch break; some days it was 14 hours. The owner/manager of these two locations was a bully to office staff. Berating, ignoring, talking about staff to other employees were all methods used on a daily basis. The office is very small,so everything is seen and heard by all. After working for so many years in legitimate corporate environments, I can tell you that the owner's behavior qualifies as harassment and volatile work environment. Customer information is is not handled in a safe, confidential manner that is in compliance with HIPPA laws. There is a client database/scheduling system that the company uses, however because they won't pay to unlock certain features, they are left to capture and store that info in other places (Google drive, Excel, etc)

Pros

The main job of a CSR is to hire CNA's, schedule, and answer client phone calls. It is very rewarding yet very challenging. The nice thing about this career is that you don't have to have previous training to be qualified for the position and the pay is decent. It was very rewarding when you find the right nurse aide for your client.

Cons

The management in this franchise was TERRIBLE. All the owners care about is money. In this job you are hiring nurse CNA's to take care of elderly or disabled clients. It can be extremely hard to hire in certain areas and the owners would take on new clients even when we did not have enough workers to take care these clients. There were days every CSR in the office would spend hours upon hours trying to get CNA's clients houses and even after hours of calling around would still have no one to take care of these clients. Clients would go without help or would get underqualified help because the company only cared about making money. I loved job with interim, but the management made it unbearable. The money was not worth the constant bullying from management, constant late nights in the office, and overwhelming weekends. We were not appreciated for the hard work or treated well. There was absolutely no work life balance. I can honestly say even as a mother I would rather be broke and work for a company that treats me fair and is good to there clients than make good money and be treated poorly by a company who does not care about their clients well being. Since I left the office they have had turn over in every position due to the same issues i had. It's unfortunate that such a good business is ran by such lousy management.

Pros

Competitive pay, flexible scheduling, accomodations, and friendly professional staff. Only PRN position that had ever offered me a benefits package! They also have incentives, which is nice. Very understanding and family oriented.

Cons

There is no guarantee on shifts or a set schedule. The hiring process can be lengthy and selective! Not the easiest company to get on but not difficult either considering you are willing to go through the process.
