Pros

Decent benefits and very nice people to work with. Culture is very accommodating for everyone. Fairly reasonable work life balance (Depends on the team and the manager)

Cons

Upward mobility is not based on performance Performance review system is a joke. You can ace it without contributing anything Terrible wastage of resources and money by doing over a lot of projects. Lack of a coherent vision tied to it's mission Leadership keeps changing it's course not knowing where to go and always changing course wasting millions of dollars CIO knew what "Agile Methodology" in Software Engineering was only in 2014!

Pros

The people are usually nice, and there is a good work/life balance. Health insurance and dental are decent, and they contribute a few percent if you participate in the retirement plan.

Cons

My job title in the payroll system is different, lower, and in no way representative of my actual job title. Have tried to get it corrected for years, but HR ignores my requests. Bonuses for the same performance rating have dropped by about half. Less vacation time can be carried over from previous years. Haven't had even a 2% cost of living raise in the last few years. The more you work, the more they make you tighten your belt. This is no way to motivate employees.
