However, since Marc Harrison has become CEO, they have been restructuring across the entire company with thousands being forced out of their positions. I saw it happen on my unit back in January of 2019, they cut the Residential program for being too costly and they didn't fire anyone because it would look bad. However, it took the available shift hours from 1000 a week down to just 440. People loyal to the company, who were promised that they wouldn't lose their jobs were suddenly left with a job and zero hours, forcing them to look for work elsewhere and quit. They change policies without any regard or warning for the techs and nurses who are working on the unit, often using them as cannon fodder to throw under the bus when something is wrong because the changes that were made don't work.
I will also flat out say that they broke several workplace laws in regards to how the employees are treated. The only things that really made it bearable were my coworkers and the patients. I left because it had become such a toxic environment.
