Pros

Work in the Hospital building means there is a dining room right there. No need to go out to search for food. Kind, smart people who always ready to help with any problems. This makes it very pleasant environment to work in. Fun team outings make good breaks from coding. People devoted to keep up good health.

Cons

Not many open spots are available for software development right now.

Pros

very hostile work environment, managers are always right. Benefits are average, I just really wouldn't recommend anyone work for this company. They are very dishonest, and crooked! They make you sign a bunch of paperwork so they can use it against you later.

Cons

Favoritism, not everyone is held to the same standard. They can and WILL fire you for no reason. They don't care about patient care. They care about their numbers. Employees are indispensable, and they treat you that way. Nearly impossible to get a good yearly review.

Pros

Excellent resources for employees in many different levels within the organization. As a leader in this organization, there was so much support and development available.

Cons

Benefits changing and expensive. This isn't just a problem with Intermountain but all companies. I was just asked to report a "con".
