      Pros

      Great co-workers, Staff is committed to excellent care for patients. Co-workers were diligent in caring for patients, 90% worked well as a team and would help one another.

      Cons

      Managers do not seem to have training to be managers. I observed one nurse manager screaming at an individual in front of other staff. Pay is well below what nurses in other states are paid. Most of the staff do not realize how poorly they are treated because they have only worked in Utah and Intermountain. Extremely quick to punish if you forget to punch in or out.

      Pros

      I loved working for intermountain because overall there are great people working there. I appreciated working for a large company because we didn't have to worry about supply or budget. What we needed was always there. I felt we were trained well and had plenty of staff to help out.

      Cons

      you can't be an individual. There are too many peope working for anyone to notice or care. Its a letter of the law type deal. If they have rule like no one can switch shifts during a certain time they will stick to it. No matter the emergency. They are really strict on rules.
