Pros

Work life balance is unrivaled. People generally care about you. I have stayed at SelectHealth for so long because the people are so great to work with. If you have an issue you can express it, and management will address it.

Cons

Benefits are average, and it's a non-profit so unless you are an actuary you won't get rich.

Pros

Flexible, if you have the right manager. Friendly employees, hard to find one you don't like. Stable job.

Cons

Very corporate. No effective planning. Pay is poor. Higher management is hired poorly and not managed. Needed software is ignored, or takes a year for it to arrive. They like to brag about JD Powers and Gallup, but the Gallup poll questions are written where any company can pass.
