Pros

Flexibility is very important along with remote opportunities.

Cons

Burnout is very prevalent. ELT doesn’t really do anything to prevent it and would rather hire consultants than better, more experienced staff.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, both positive and constructive. We value all our current and former caregivers’ feedback, as our focus is to continually improve our practices. At Intermountain Health, we believe that a culture of well-being for all caregivers is foundational to our ability to deliver on our mission of helping people live the healthiest lives possible. Caregivers are at the heart of what we do, which is why we have invested in and implemented several programs and resources to help caregivers enhance their physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and financial health. It’s important that every caregiver feels secure, supported, and safe, both at home and at work. Additionally, we assess pay on an annual basis, to reflect geography, and as the market changes. We appreciate your review and will share it with our teams as we continue to move forward.

Pros

There are absolutely no good reasons to work at IMH, essentially every single person I work with is looking for work elsewhere.

Cons

I couldn't possibly list all the cons even if I had all the time in the world. IMH does not look after its caregivers/employees, disregards the fact that this is extremely difficult work, and constantly cuts corners to save themselves money.
