Pros

Benefits package is above average and some senior leadership cares about their rollups. Internal resources to professionally develop are also nice. Values are strong and reflect across most of the organization. The work life balance is great.

Cons

Benefits get more expensive each year and it feels like you have to play politics to advance to higher level positions. Poor strategic choices made by senior leadership have lower level employees paying the prices (lay offs, FTE constraints, and benefits being taken away i.e., pension freeze)

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. At Intermountain Health, we’re always working to keep communication open and meaningful across all levels of the organization. We’ve built in several ways for caregivers and leaders to stay connected and share feedback, like 30-, 60-, and 90-day check-ins during onboarding, regular team huddles, and quarterly meetings. These touchpoints are designed to create space for real conversations and collaboration. Additionally, as a healthcare organization, everything we do is rooted in data, from creating treatment plans for patients to making decisions about our business. Our benefits package is no different. Intermountain offers benefits that support caregivers, maintain affordability and sustainability, stay competitive in the market, and create a consistent experience for all caregivers. Our benefits will continue to evolve based on caregiver feedback and market data. We appreciate your review and will share it with our teams as we continue to move forward.

Pros

- security present, staff safety taken into consideration - charting wasn't overly burdensome - staffing was okay

Cons

- anti-union propaganda snuck into the mandatory "Health stream" education modules - bullying issues and favoritism - pay could've been better
