Pros

Good work from home policy.

Cons

The VP marketing came in and slashed jobs even before getting to know people. She brought her own people in. Board and leadership mostly made up of white males. Male dominated in a lot of ways, and it’s hard for women to progress.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, both positive and constructive. We value all our current and former caregivers’ feedback, as our focus is to continually improve our practices. Intermountain Health is uniquely positioned to provide communities in the Mountain West with advanced care techniques and innovative solutions to their health needs, as well as deliver high-quality care at a sustainable cost to more patients and growing communities. Our growth as an organization supports our ability to do groundbreaking work and invest in large, life-saving projects, as well as be the partners in health that each unique community needs us to be. By collaborating and driving positive change together, we can help shape the future of healthcare and make a meaningful impact on patient care. Additionally, at Intermountain, we enjoy the privilege of working with caregivers from many different heritages and backgrounds, who enhance our mission by bringing their traditions, customs, experiences, and perspectives to work every day. Our Office of Equity and Inclusion (OEI) is active in visibly raising awareness and helping us create a culture of equitable opportunity and belonging. The OEI hosts and sponsors events, trainings, Caregiver (Employee) Resource Groups, and multimedia marketing campaigns. More fundamentally, these talented caregivers drive our focus on ongoing policies and practices for hiring, supporting, and developing a diverse and culturally competent workforce at all levels, listening to diverse groups caregivers, and sourcing from diverse talent pools in the community. We appreciate your review and will share it with our teams as we continue to move forward.

Pros

They do give an annual raise, and have not tried to decrease our pay post-Covid like some other companies in town like Common Spirit.

Cons

Low raise. I only got 2% this year with zero discipline on my record, 12 years of experience and ability to scrub any specialty we do in the OR as well as being a lead and being on committees. It was just really underwhelming with all of the cost of living increases in Colorado.. and I feel taken for granted. They also take things away constantly that have led to low moral. They changed the call policy to make us cheaper, and whine about not making enough money with some half-baked report that does not make cuts to corporate level people(would solve all financial woes) while rewarding their C level management with all expense paid trips and a bonus lump sums that would pay me for 5+ years. CLEARLY they have plenty of money, they just steal from their lowest paid employees. They are fooling no one and we all know they are full of corrupt $h!t.
