Pros

My direct managers were decent, the hospital is newer and has decent supplies. The hospital is kept clean. Pay is low but still competitive.

Cons

We were chronically short staffed, and management didn't seem to care if we or our patients were in danger. Our CNO bragged about the hospital spending millions lobbying against safe staffing laws in Colorado. Yikes. I had so many close calls and near misses I bought private liability insurance. You will likely not get any kind of decent raises either. It has gotten so much worse since intermountain acquired this hospital.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. First and foremost, we are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience at Intermountain Health. We appreciate your valuable feedback as it helps us identify the areas we can improve. While the healthcare industry continues to face staffing shortages across the nation, Intermountain is employing innovative solutions to address these shortages, including remote and hybrid work options for select positions where possible, tuition reimbursement/education assistance, paid training programs and apprenticeships, and partnerships with educational institutions and community organizations to develop a pipeline of healthcare talent. Through these avenues, as well as an organizational focus on retention efforts, we’re working to ensure we have the workforce we need to provide high quality care to our patients and communities. We take all feedback seriously and will share your review with our teams as we continue to move forward.

Pros

Best coworkers I've every had. I felt fulfillment every day for my work. Great opportunity to bond with a community.

Cons

Human Resources did not treat me civilly. They terminated me, even as I was put in a position of caring and kindness, Did not consider the mental health and welfare of all of their employees, will cut people unlawfully for a misconception of the facts. HR falsified my statements in their documentation. Bias, unjustified rumors, and dis-crimination has occurred towards me, making me feel unsafe under that Leadership, and they did nothing reasonable and civil to fix it.
