Horrible. Just horrible.

Pros

I wish I had something to add here…

Cons

Don’t quite know where to begin here. The process has changed multiple times in the few months I have been here. The target we are given versus the target they actually expect is absurdly different. I have been moved across 4 markets and now drive over 20 miles to my centers when I was hired for a nearby market. Trying to escalate any issues is a nightmare, management will just straight up not respond to any requests for support. Commissions are always late. I could genuinely write an entire horror novel on my experience with IWG these last few months. Don’t even get me started on how clients are treated! I feel guilty every time I close a deal. Do yourself a favor and decline a job offer here.

Pros

Some of management is nice. Things only got better ones we got a new city manager and the other ones left. and I learned a lot through the billing cycle and how to manage clients on a different level.

Cons

You get taken advantage of. I can’t believe “remote sales manager” is even a role. It’s actually so immature of a company to have a remote sales manager that puts the entire workload on the community associate (which means taking ALL tours, moving tons of furniture, having to expose the hidden fees to the new clients, and MORE) with NO commission. Remote sales managers also believe they are above you and won’t shy away from being rude or inconsiderate of your work and time. We deal with so many angry clients because the remote sales managers don’t care about who’s physically in the center dealing with them since they only see them as a number for their commission boost. They purposely don’t let them know about the hidden fees so when they come up the community associates get the worst of it. Confusing ticketing system and IT system, HR is a nightmare to get ahold of. Bonuses are never reachable since they make the debt of clients invoices our responsibility (as if just emailing them will get them to pay over 10k of missed invoices) so that always subtracts our bonus. Everyone’s burnt out that’s why they keep having “sick” call outs. It’s impossible to accrue PTO and if you are sick and out of sick hours (not a lot for new hires) they make you use your PTO.
