Pros

Decent training, great office, work/life balance, open-door policy with execs Great if you are selling their financial products Walk on water if you sell (but this means you're in financial vertical) Very good marketing/branding team You'll always have someone to spot you in the gym

Cons

Classic example of the "old boys club" If you're not in the financial vertical you won't make $$$ Not enough room in the office for everyone's ego Management can't even explain their commission plan By the end of training, the class (full of well educated people) still could not distinguish products

Pros

There is autonomy in how you handle your territory and book of business, which is nice. Good opportunity to work with some big names in business, and you can make some decent money if you hustle. My co-workers were all wonderful people that I will miss on my immediate team and strong sales leadership overall.

Cons

Unfortunately, despite what I said in the pros they are completely outweighed by the cons of the company. For one, compensation is terrible. Not only are people underpaid compared to market rates, the compensation team is completely incompetent in handling their job. Expect to get paid your commissions 45 days after the close of the month, which is grossly late. Also, you don't get your quota on time - it is given to you part way through the year and they backdate what your performance is to date. Essentially, you sell for 3 months hoping the company will do the right thing - spoiler alert they won't. In my experience, they also tried to backdate my quota at the end of the year and withhold money that was earned but not paid (only unpaid because they delay payment for so long) and was shocked that they couldn't actually choose to not pay someone for their work. It was clear that I was selling at a significantly higher level than my co-workers and management chose to ignore and erase that performance in a poor attempt to keep the money I brought in for themselves. Which is incredibly idiotic because now I am bringing money in for a new company instead.

Pros

Unlimited vacation for management to take advantage off. Boys club at the upper management level that you can join Bagel Mondays which employees contribute to by using the vending machines Management structure keeps changing, so you always on your toes.

Cons

If you are a woman in technology and care about your career and professional growth, this may not be the company for you. If you are a young talent and want to launch your career in technology, this may not be the company for you. If you expect management to be decisive, articulate future goals and give you honest feedback, this may not be the company for you If you want to work in cutting edge technology, where you can learn everyday and feel like you are making a difference, this may not be the company for you
