Pros

You’ll learn exactly what not to do in a job or company. (If you even are expected to work here. Lots of people do nothing with no repercussions.) Occasionally, someone decent gets hired (and promptly leaves). Free coffee, if that’s your benchmark for employment.

Cons

Incompetent upper management with no clear vision. Strategy changes weekly, usually based on whims. Nepotism and politics dominate. Advancement depends on who you know, not what you do. Outdated systems and chaotic operations – it’s like stepping into a time machine straight to 2003. Pay is well below industry standard, with laughable raises and no career development. Toxic work culture where finger-pointing is the norm and accountability is nonexistent. HR is either powerless or complicit. Don’t expect help if you face harassment or discrimination. “Work-life balance” is a myth here. Prepare for crunch hours and zero appreciation. Always willing to break the law, you will have to risk being fired from refusing to perform actions if you do not want to be liable.

Pros

Intralot offers a competitive pay structure within the industry space it operates in. They offer benefit packages that exceed expectations when compared to many different companies in the US. While work can be exhausting on any given day, it is up to the employee on how difficult they want to make it. After 16 years employed, I can say never did anything that was really all that difficult to learn or execute.

Cons

There are a few issues that indeed need to be addressed. As many have said, the communication within departments and management is some times down right terrible. This is made worse by constant changes in roles and management teams. If a team doesn't succeed quickly, it gets disbanded and re-worked rather than assessed, trained, and improved. A large majority of the EU company employees get treated much better than the US employees due to the company originating in Greece. This can be seen by the US employees and creates a systemic hostility towards the "other side".
