Terrible shift choices, no chance of advancement, angry lottery customers.

Lots of time sensitive little tasks, that prevent you from doing any big projects with all that downtime. 12 hour night shifts are mentally exhausting, which makes it hard to do Job Applications, Take Night classes or work on personal Coding projects. Work/Life balance is terrible, it's worse the farther you have to travel. Perpetually understaffed, there should be 4 people per shift, but management puts on a hiring freeze if more than one shift hits 3 people per shift. Also tends towards 2 people per shift which puts too much work on each operator. No workplace community outside of your shift. Management culture is to offload unpleasant work onto underlings, Systems Operators are considered the lowest rung on the corporate ladder. Call Center is perpetually understaffed and often either late to work or early to leave. As a result, Systems Operators function as a backup call center. Has been hemorrhaging employees in the last year.
