Paid well but not a great place to work

Pros

Pay is good, benefits are better than average. A lot of good, smart people to work with.

Cons

Annual layoffs, no job security. Sr. Mgmt not familiar with the tax business or tax professionals and unwilling to listen to anyone with experience to help them get to where they want to go. Current Sr. Mgmt uses fear as a motivator, needless to say it doesn't work well.

Pros

Paid training, they fed us a lot, on site gym, nice campus

Cons

No bonus for contractors, worked there for two seasons in multiple departments and pulled 60+ hours a week for 4 months and did not get retained. Dealt with irresponsible lower management with not much help from HR
