employees spread to thin

Pros

Great entry level experience and looks good on a resume

Cons

micromanaged, they want you to perform better, work hard ,do more tasks with low pay wage and less support. One position is expected to wear many hats - spread too thin

Pros

Flexibility to do whatever you want with your schedule, commute wasn't bad. Decent starting pay was not bad

Cons

You won't get promoted unless you know someone within the company like a friend or family member who already works there. You can be working twice as hard as someone else who is doing the bare minimum and still get treated the same. Management only speaks to who they know, also they will pile on more work to the good employees to catch up the slack of someone else who isn't doing their job. Too many friends and family members who work closely together, doesn't make it fair to other employees. Free food isn't a bonus and extra compensation either.

Pros

The chef's feed you and are probably the only decent people that work there.

Cons

Be prepared to stay at work until 2 am on Saturdays, get yelled at by managers because you're not fast enough breaking things down while they sit and watch. If you're a banquet server I'm sorry FOH servers get paid more than you because you do all the work.
