Pros

Location Nice Office There are still a few good people left Flexible hour Work from home option

Cons

With the company's most recent efforts of digital transformation it traded in its integrity to reinvent itself. Nepotism, name calling, degrading, bullying and deceitful behavior is not only tolerated, but also supported by leadership and senior members of the SET. People are no longer an important asset, they are a mere end to the means. Human Resources is outsourced oversees, training is non existent, the on-boarding process for new hires consists of watching a bunch of videos and doing the necessary online trainings to stay compliant. If you need help, open a ticket. Welcome to Iron Mountain ! There is ZERO communication, managers lie, deceive and bully - and everything is tolerated, as long as it serves the greater goal.

Thank you for taking the time to share this review. We take it seriously and appreciate that we have the chance to improve in some of the areas you highlighted through this honest feedback. In terms of organizational communications and onboarding, these are both areas we’re actively addressing this year to provide the best experience possible. We also have several skill development programs available and we’d like to know if you were able to participate in any. Understanding your situation can help us improve these programs and make sure everyone has access to them. Lastly, the types of behaviors you mentioned don’t match our values and they are very concerning to us. We’d appreciate the chance to follow up about your experience to learn more. Please reach out to us at IMCommunicates@ironmountain.com if you can. Thanks again for your honesty.

Pros

Huge 70 year legacy of protecting some of the worlds most protected information An attempt for Digital Transformation internally to bring new products and solutions to our customers as we tout how we can help customers with their Digital Transformation Increased global positioning as a leader in the ITAD/ITAM arena

Cons

Mass layoffs and a drastic change in compensation indicate it's now profits over people as shareholders seem to be more important The majority of salespeople still don't understand our 2024 compensation plan. Layoffs and resignations are significantly impacting sales opportunities which then impact sales compensations Generic "we listen to what you have to say" on nearly every post on Glassdoor implies no one bothers to even look at this or care

Pros

The recruitment incentive package was phenomenal.

Cons

In my opinion based on direct experience with IM the following are Cons: - The phenomenal recruitment package was based on a tough but achievable AOP target. Then that tough but achievable target was changed dramatically 3-months into employment by close to an 800% increase. - Lack of vision and direction to compete in Cloud - Management refusal to collaborate with the experienced Sales/Engineers they recently recruited to lead Cloud sales. - An assumption of 1% Cloud market-share penetration goals, with no real strategy as how to achieve goals. - No technology sales experience within historical sales teams - Experienced sellers spent time, effort and sales cycles working with and educating the IM sales generalists in order to garner additional "feet on the street" to pursue lofted AOP targets. - No strategic or complex training offered to the traditional transaction based sellers - No Channel to provide lead generation - Being built from ground up with multiple management changes. - Sales staff of less than 20 Cloud sellers in NA to drive ~$100M Average Contract Value in sales in startup year. That equates to ~$300M Total Contract Value, or $15M TCV per person.
