There is a lot of cutting edge technology and opportunity to learn

To get to management you'll need to leave. It is a good old boy mentality. Many of the managers are not tuned into current technology, customer needs, or have the ability to develop employees. It's sink or swim mentality. Those who learn the products are severely overworked so there is no initiative to try to learn.

-Management has their heads up their arses -Hemmorhaging good, talented employees -Stingy as hell (barely any pay raises) -Insane release deadlines for insane PLMs and insane customers -Unnecessary layoffs -HR is a joke -Performance goals are a joke -Company is a joke -Sinking faster than the Titanic. Everyone is jumping ship. When the talent leaves in droves, it's time to look elsewhere.
