      Good salary and co-workers and 401k match.

      After the final merger they let many talented people go

      Not a great place, Bad Management, Good products but too many now in portfolio

      Pros

      Good products Working from home office Some great and nice colleagues / friends (if they are not already gone or fired!)

      Cons

      Lots of excellent people were fired after the merge of LANdesk with HEAT Software (each 6 months new layoffs of good and experienced people from HEAT) Was not a "merge" of LANDesk with HEAT, but a "take-over" Management positions only by LANdesk people, other managers got fired Bad management or even not existing (micro management) Stupid decisions Too many products, too less advice how to position them No clear focus on product direction Also internal people doesn't understand the product direction Customers are unsatisfied about the unclear direction

      Can't think of any that would be worth the time or energy spent to write something up on this site!

      Cons

      A micro-managers dream paradise!!! Throw salesforce out the window and break out your spreadsheets and pivot tables! It's every man for himself! All my years in the this industry and I have never seen or experienced such poor sales and management culture! Management is operating in desperate mode and putting the pressure on their sales team to save them from some pretty bad decisions, acquisitions and promises they can't deliver on! High pressure, unattainable quotas and very little specialist and engineering support. All the good guys are gone, you'll be struggling to keep your head above water only to find yourself answering to a management team that has no consideration for your time or value. Run...
