Great Opportunity

Pros

I've worked at Ivy Rehab for ~ 12 years. I started as staff PT, I was given the opportunity for multiple promotions and eventually the ability to open my own clinic. I've been given tools to become a better clinician with in house cont. ed and reimbursement to support earning my MDT and OCS. Great mentorship from caring teammates along the way. Ability to enroll in leadership training, business training,

Cons

Physical therapists work hard to serve their communities and clinics-Almost any outpatient clinic will expect evening hours a few nights a week and occasional weekends. Generally expected. Documentation in PT/healthcare is just a pain. Ivys recent add of Scribe note dictation is a huge bonus!

Good coworkers

Pros

My coworkers were consistently supportive and collaborative, which created a really encouraging work environment. The clinic director was also approachable, positive, and supportive, making it easy to feel valued as a clinician. I appreciated the access to engaging therapy materials, a great client population, and strong CEU benefits that supported ongoing professional development.

Cons

That said, there are some areas for improvement. Communication—especially around change management—can be inconsistent. For example, there were instances where commonly used codes were suddenly blocked in the EMR system without prior notice or clear guidance for therapists. Additionally, documentation processes are not very streamlined and can be time-consuming. It does sound like the company is working toward implementing AI solutions, which could help improve efficiency in the future.
