Everything else is awful. When they interview you, they will say they give pay raises at or above inflation. My pay raise for 2020 (pre-COVID) was a measly 2% despite meeting expectations and having the “best year of the department so far.” Your career growth is dictated by where the company wants you, NOT where you want to be. I gained additional skills and worked with cross-functional teams. I was told I couldn’t be in the department I expressed interest in and applied internally for since I didn’t “have a degree in that department.” Yet, I had the experience working with them. Also, expect lateral moves within the company. Once you’re settled in the lateral move, they’ll work you like you’re the next pay grade for a year. Once you know you’re working for the next pay grade, your manager will laugh in your face when you ask for a raise to meet the expectations of the position above that you’re filling.
