      Pros

      Transparent leadership and involvement throughout company, takes action quickly and reasonably, pays higher than competitor's average, great benefits on day one, ample opportunities for bonuses; both financially and through free clothes; etc.

      Cons

      The only con I have is that it is a retailer and it is no secret that the industry is changing, therefore companies must change with it. That said, J. Crew has done a good job with staying on top of what they can control: namely employee morale, competitive sales, and outreach.

      Pros

      Great pay, great benefits, great incentives. J Crew takes care of their employees. They offer great employee discounts as well.

      Cons

      Huge disconnect between corporate, online store, and retail store which makes running the retail store very difficult. Excessive discounting...especially online causes a low bottom dollar for the retail store. Customers only looking for sales. There is also a disconnect amongst management team which makes the store disorganized. Hours are insane. Early morning openings, late night closings, overnights. A very stressful place to work.
