      Pros

      Good pay, good discount, easy to follow their guidelines, good upper management - the strive to do well even when they fall short.

      Cons

      Cons consistent with most retail jobs out there - payroll constraints, needing to give in to crazy/unreasonable customers to avoid a customer complaint, only so much room for promotion until he have to be 'relocatable' to move up.

      Pros

      The vast majority of J.Crew clothing is well-made and can be timeless in style. Managers are willing to help if you push them and show a desire to learn and improve. -Great discount, which gets better when switching to different seasonal lines -J.Crew hires fun, helpful people -Flexible schedule -Hard work pays off with managers/co-workers (doesn't go unnoticed)

      Cons

      -On call shifts are terrible (if corporate knew how each store worked then sufficient hours would be given to the stores to accomplish goals) -Sometimes have to push for proper training (on POS, operations procedures, standards)

      Pros

      What I loved about working at J.Crew was the people I worked with, we all got along well. Also, getting discount was the best part.

      Cons

      Not enough pay, worked there for 2 years and only received a few cents raise. Made me work closing shifts mostly every weekends just because of how satisfied they were with my recovering skills.
