Pros

Great pay, great perks in terms of free clothes(you are taxed on them however), and good benefits, and good hours.

Cons

Retail can be a very catty industry, and in a very corporate environment people can really be out for themselves. Not very high moral within the store, and a lot of jealousy.

Pros

Great discount provided for associates. Easy to maintain sales floor. Great co-workers.

Cons

Less hours to distribute. When company is not making their days you suffer for it. Not everyone is on the same page when getting the work environment organized. Management not easy to talk to. They don't try to look out for their employees.

Pros

Relaxed atmosphere was very easy to get comfortable in. Dress code is basically J.Crew clothes so that's not really a problem, but it can get expensive quick, even with the great discount.

Cons

Monotonous retail can make you cry unless you make friends fast. Constantly putting away clothes and dealing with ridiculous people are always terrible at retail jobs.
