amazing discount associates make commission the health insurance isnt bad good hours, and great pay around the holidays.

-competitive atmosphere makes things stressful -the hourly rate isn't amazing

No caps on commission for sellers, awesome employee discounts, opportunities for internal promotions. If you're a top salesperson, J.Crew is happy to acknowledge and reward that.

Cons

The typical downsides of retail: lots of standing, occasional fiesty customers. Some managers are less competent or understanding of conflicts than others.

If you like their product, then it's fun to see all of the new things that come in. The store is busy so there's no time for boredom.

Cons

there was a time that the assistane managers were micromanaging while they stood around, but things have changed.
