Pros

Stable and very predictable work environment.

Cons

Be prepared for a very rigorous interview, at one point they will ask you to waive your personal rights so that they can physically probe you by an in-house doctor in search for a medical condition, in other words a reason not to hire you. Always a good start to a long lasting relationship. Culturally they are very dysfunctional. Upper management is trying to replace old management with new blood, however they are joining the modern trend by promoting big talkers who consistently try to marginalize and commoditize the quality results of the highly talented. Needless to say highly talented individuals will feel bullied and segmented by the big talkers. Workload is not managed by managers and new managers just ask VP's how high to jump and then overwork their team. If you want to work for "The Cat in the Hat" Humberfloob family this is the place. East coast bullying, fear mongering, and such nonsense is rampant and highly rewarded. A highly conservative class system of management exists, don't expect to have long conversations or play squash with someone who outranks you. Benefits are below average in every respect and HR staff are completely useless for the employee, don't expect any help from them other than stating the mundane obvious on behalf of the employer. Employees who survive the long term either move up in management and/or learn to be productively unproductive to maintain their own sanity.
