Pros

Although global with over 7000 employees, it truly has the feel of being a family and is family owned and operated. The spirit is one of entrepreneurship and the environment allows for growth and development . Good camaraderie and support amongst team members.

Cons

It is growing at such a fast pace that some of the procedures and processes are no longer adequate and need to be refined.

Pros

Overshadowed by the cons - it used to be longer, and I used to be able to tell you how amazing this place was to work, and now, I tell everyone to run. Do not take this job. If you do? Use it as a lily-pad job, I have seen people come here, work for a year, then bounce to a way better job because the ONE good thing this place does? Titles. You can essentially create your own title - they use the titles as leverage instead of giving you pay - they won't negotiate that paycheck, but you can end up with an amazing title, not great for the long term, excellent for the short term.

Cons

No Remote Work Flexibility - DO NOT LET THEM LURE YOU WITH HYBRID!! They want you full-time, in the office, where they can hover over your shoulders and micromanage you. The CEO WALKS THE BUILDINGS to see how many people from each team are there; he doesn't know you in particular, but he knows which department is where, and if it looks scarce, you end up back in the office 5 days a week. It is all Pomp and no Substance. The top management, meaning VP and up, get the fun travel perks, the events, the dinners, the outings, and the remote work, that does not apply to you. You are a workhorse to make the rest of that possible. They will overwork you, they will dangle promotions in front of you, they will only give you a 2% raise after years of your life and sleepless nights, after they spend millions on global events for those 10% of leaders. You are not important. Do not take this job. It doesn't matter the department, it doesn't matter the boss, bc the root problem is that the core management thinks of themselves as the Dons of Logistics and have no desire actually to make a difference for their people. Still, they fully expect those people to make that big difference they are always pushing. And whatever you give will never be enough. Your time will not be rewarded, your loyalty will not be rewarded. Your boss will demean you and make you feel worthless. Then they will give that same boss a promotion and a trip to Europe. Run. Run as fast as you can.
