Pros

Some managers may care about your personal well being and providing flexible work time.

Cons

Too many to list. I have never written a review before for a company but felt compelled. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. Biggest career mistake was taking this job. Absolutely zero professional development/mentorship. The worst communication of a company I have ever worked for. Not interested in actual technical work or building technical portfolio. Has the interest of the owners first and foremost. Benefits to women are the absolute bare minimum. Zero career growth. Raises have been capped at 2.5% 4 years in a row.......just to name a tiny few.

Pros

There are fantastic bosses and teams in the group. The work is challenging, and when you show you are capable, you can get as much responsibility as you can handle. Working on the research and the projects themselves has very gratifying moments, as you feel you're contributing to improving social services and people's lives.

Cons

Management "talks the talk" when it comes to valuing its employees, but trying to wrench a few hundred dollars for a training course is like pulling teeth - no matter your contributions to the bottom line. Operational units that bring in money have to beg the "internal units" like IT and HR for services, and follow each step of the process to make sure the services are provided. There is a cap on raises that is unconscionably low, given the devotion in sweat and hours that are asked of individuals to finish the tasks they are assigned. There is so much work that new business opportunities slip by - because management won't devote the resources to pursue them.

Pros

I liked my team members.

Cons

It appears that some of the most recent 5 reviews might have been internally written, so that could be an indication of how great things are.
