Pros

There used to be extremely smart and experienced retail people that worked there. The new management has gutted the place in the past 8-10 months so this may not be the case now.

Cons

Bad managers at all levels - actually gets worse as you go down the management chain Too much politics between the managers in different departments in order to get work done

Pros

Able to share my thoughts and design suggestions freely. Being able to work flexible hours when needed for personal reasons. Close to home in North Texas.

Cons

They gave time to learn new skills but did not give you time to apply them, so therefore the skill is lost. the time schedules were always to aggressive, so long hours made you stressful.

Pros

Great group of associates that are like family

Cons

RJ is downsizing to the point that all of the good experienced associates are gone. Not only do they have bitter feelings, but they will be vocal to their friends, relatives and those customers they have built relationships with. So the 4-6 customers JCP loses times the number of "layoffs', the company is losing millions of dollars. And RJ doesn't care.
