Cut my pay due to restructuring

Pros

Paid time off, associate discount. These are the only pros I could think of since most are gone now and we live in constant fear of losing our jobs or losing our pay.

Cons

I have worked for JCPenney for 10 years and I was told today that my position is now being paid less. My position has no less responsibility, just less pay. This is a huge slap in the face. JCPenney does not care about their front line associates.

Pros

The employee discount is good

Cons

No reasonable way to contact people, management, departments, etc. Your phone call goes into a black hole of auto-answer, no one ever returns phone calls. They hired 150 people for Xmas holidays and then had no hours for anyone and promptly sacked everyone they hired. No training, no hours, just useless!

Great people to work with and great benefits - up to 25% off in some areas.

Cons

Commission sales in appliances is not structured very well and lack of hours to give to employees
