Pros

They'll hire almost anyone, this was a pro for me because I had no relevant experience. Relatively easy to get days off as long as you ask ahead of time. Usually worked well with changing class schedules

Cons

They'll hire almost anyone, it's also a con because there are some associate's that don't do their job. High turnover rate, you have to push credit card applications, the store gets trashed especially during big holiday sales, major holidays are "black out" periods and you can't get days off during that time, most managers were rude but I think most of them have quit since I was there, if the general manager is mad at department managers they take it out on associate's, training really isn't helpful at all and lasts a few hours at best before they put you on the floor, I worked there less than a year and I was asked to help train a few new hires during that time

Pros

none that I can think of

Cons

little to no hours, bad management, uninspiring leaders, everyone is basically part-time unless you're a manager, no benefits whatsoever, low pay, high expectations
