Pros

Pay is high compared to similar job roles - important to ask for max salary so you are not offered low.

Cons

No formal training. If you come with a background in buying, they want the skills you already do have and do not want to help you build on those or grow.

Pros

Personally the cooworkers I've been with have been wonderful to wok with. Its been pretty forgiving with hours considering I also had school the majority of my employment.

Cons

Barely paid above minimum wage. Higher management doesn't understand what its like to work the floor and therefor have a huge disconect between what they want and what is actually reasonable/possible to do while working the floor. Higher management only cares about getting people to sign up for credit cards, if you aren't good at that you're basically replacable/expendable.
