Pros

The best part about the job was the people that I got to work with. Made a fair amount of money.

Cons

The downside of working at J.C. Penney was the constant monitoring of employees. Security always had their eye on you.

Pros

The discount The people The customers Floor sets were fun always a blast.

Cons

The pay structure is not the best. That is being polite. New people were making more than people who have been there for years. There was no system in place to properly communicate to the associates at the start of there shift. Even after training you feel thrown to the wolves. Supervisors have favorites and are buddy buddy. The entire management team was inconsistent and angry.
