Pros

the job offers flexible hours and the management is pretty good. benifeits package is decent for full time employees. good discounts to.

Cons

every year it seems that my pay has decreased. I work in a commission driven position that use to pay well. I've lost on average $2000 a yr over the past 3 years. Not many full time positions available anymore.

Pros

I worked in the women's department for JC Penney and I consider myself to be extremely lucky to have had a manager who was very understanding of my schedule and had an open door policy. My schedule typically changed every few months due to classes and changing it was never a problem. If I need more or less hours all I had to do was ask.

Cons

Minimum wage. Some of the customers that shop at JC Penney are not exactly the brightest. Some of my coworkers were great but some of them were taking longer breaks than they should have and they were usually not given warnings for this.
