Seasonal Work Only

Pros

Easy, for some being given as task and having to work solely on that could be a pro. Nice working enviorment. Good discount. It was an over all clean place. I would say it would be a very good first call-center job now they they are not stressing on call-times so it would give people a chance to wet their feet in the call-center environment.

Cons

It was seasonal work so I didn't plan for that and how quickly they would let me go. I should've been better prepared for that. They were very impersonal with everyone which really didn't help build a team spirit for me- which they often preached about. It was very boring.

Pros

Employee discount, some nice co-workers.

Cons

Sigh. They called me in for training after I had been hired, and I came in on the right time they asked. I didnt think the training would be too long, maybe a couple hours. I was there the whole day for training, without any warning. Okay......Mistakes happen. But then I was told I had to show up for more training........at 5am. Then, I was told to check the schedule online to see when I would be working. I had about two days of work. After those two days, two weeks went by without anything on the schedule for me, and I had no number to call an HR rep about my work schedule. Finally I was called, only to be met with a "Well why didnt you call us?" Are you kidding me? Its not my responsibility to make my schedule, its yours as my employer! And when I finally did start getting regular hours, every single manager and supervisor told me differently how to do my job! The last day I worked there it nearly drove me to tears. I only lasted a month there.
