Pros

Location. DFW is a great place to work. Also, JCPenney is well recognized in the industry as having one of the best QA organizations. Having said that, they are well respected from a QA standpoint. Stability. They have been around for well over 100 years. The company had a family first mentality. This means your family came first, then your company. If you had issues at home, they would work with you.

Cons

Poor pay. Pay was well below other retailers. Some upper management associates did not have proper training for managing individuals. Other than the pay and upper management issues, all else was fine.

Pros

Long History and stability of the company compared to other retailers

Cons

Lots of politics! Be prepared to work for people with big egos. Also, despite the fact that they claim to be continually enhancing our benefits, I feel like the healthcare and dental are still EXTREMELY expensive (and lacking) compared to other employers.
