Pros

Associate Discount Coworkers are great to get along with

Cons

Minimum wage. they expect you to do the most with the very little they give you. Management doesn't care about your wellbeing. Some night you close at 11pm and are there until after 2am. Breaks are short and if you have less than 30 mins you cannot leave the store for lunch. They threaten you a lot with being let go if you dont get enough credit card applications if a customer yells at you dont expect back up. i got yelled at by a customer who proceeded to wreck a shelf because her coupon didn't work for her purchase which was big name brand and the managers just stood around and made us clean it instead of asking her to leave. they don't care if the customers yell at you or basically treat you like trash lol they have you on your feet all day they dont pay you more for speaking diff languages they leave you unscheduled for weeks without explaination you also have no place to move up in the company and better yourself just another dead end job

Pros

20 percent discount for employees

Cons

There is high turnover at this store because the store is run with less employees than what is needed and they expect the employees to pick up the slack. Customers are always making negative comments. Management gets bonuses based on keeping payroll down. It is a horrible place to work.

Pros

Easier to take vacation since there were so many managers, but it had to be on the terms of the General Manager and what she said was ok to take, she always forced people to take a full week straight which was not always my need and would have preferred just a few days.

Cons

Just awful General Manager who spoke to people however she pleased since she was the general manager. I often felt very belittled by her and I thought she got off on making me feel that way. Learned a lot about what not to say to employees by working with her. Work life balance was awful, I don't mind working the nights and weekends but when you have extended hours still make it an 8 hour shift, don't make closers come in and work 10 or more hours just to keep lunches at the same time for openers, figure it out and don't flip out all the time about it. No real development or coaching, in fact, not really sure if the General Manager even knew how to coach people or about the coaching process. General Manager intimidated almost everyone. I heard from all employees that they were afraid of her or scared to speak to her about anything, so they said nothing. I felt like a lot of the time it was because of the way she reacted to people, flipping out and screaming at people all the time, or screaming over the radios at people so customers could hear her. Her facial expression and glare also often intimidated people or scared them and they were afraid of her.
