Pros

I love my co-workers but still trying to figure all of that out. It's good one week then terrible the next.

Cons

Management gives unrealistic expectations of what they want you to do then change their mind next week. No room for growth unless you kiss A LOT of butt. No real expectation of what your primary job function is and it'll change the following week. Healthcare sucks! They also try and screw you when you try and look for other jobs and give terrible annual reviews...

Pros

The employee discount was very good.

Cons

Inadequate training--policies and most procedures were not provided or explained. Safety concern: can't get outside lines for many phones to call 911 or another store. Point of sale terminals were slow, complicated, froze up, and cumbersome. Basic supplies (pens, tape, bags) disappear. Short staffing causes customers to complain. A few supervisors were nice, but most didn't care and lacked the people skills necessary to manage others. Hours were unpredictable and communication was non-existent. Emphasis on opening credit card accounts and not on providing good service.
