Pros

Salary, benefits, people, talent, diversity, amenities on campus. Broad base of options in private brand, ecommerce, marketing. Large organization that carries clout in the vendor market.

Cons

After the experiment, the company is apprehensive to pursue sales opportunities. Planning jobs are not about driving sales, instead it involves filling out recaps. Forecasts are projections of what management wants to hear, not what will happen. Inventory is too lean to drive sales and prices are too low to achieve top line $ sales.
